Routine

Escambia, Gulf Islands National Seashore (G.I.N.S.), Oil covered hard-hat found at high tide line. Command was called and was directed to secure hard-hat in plastic bag and transport to Lt. Welch at Pensacola Beach West. Trans-Ocean was notified and was enroute to Lt. Welch's area. I turned the hard-hat over to Lt. Welch at 08:50. A Trans-Ocean employee arrived at 08:55 to take possession of the hard-hat. ALL CLEAR.
